I picked up a bunch of burlap recently. Anyone interested in some for helmet covers let me know and we'll see what can be done. Its an easy project with just a little bit of sewing necessary for a great addition to your kit.

Guess it depends if you want me to do the sewing. It shouldn't be much honestly, maybe 5 or 10 plus shipping depending how much sewing it needs.

Nate made me a cover years ago. Meant for my СШ68, but here's a picture of it on my PAVN pith/sun/jungle helmet

Now my green helmet is tan! So for events thats that my helmet needs to match my uniform I can just do this!

There should be some photos of it on my СШ68 around here somewhere. I lent it out to comrade 7.62 at the last East Wind.

What I like about this cover is that it reminds me of the illustration in the 88 regulations. The illustrated soldat has some net-like cover on his steel helmet. And Sasha said it was totally legit for Afghanistan.

Found photo of SnapCracklePop and 7.62 wearing the burlap covers he made on their СШ68 helmets from Op:East Wind 8

The one seen on the left in the 2nd picture is the very same one in my 1st photo.
