Youtube says that this is VV MVD. While this is not VDV Razvetchinki, I suspect that Vympel got this same training and more. And I wouldn't be surprised if GRU also did the same stuff. Either way, check it out. If you have the room in your place, you can practice some of this at home! :wink:

I suspect this is also from the 1970s, just like the VDV physical training video.
Anyone else dig the funky upbeat music? It also rocks out in some parts.
Approximately the first half of this is all indoors, training in all kinds of combat acrobatics. Like something I remember seeing in the background of a James Bond movie. The second half is in the field. It's more fun to watch. And it shows how they put those combat acrobatics to practical application all the way at the end.

Some interesting things to note, their HB/69 uniforms aren't breaches. They don't narrow after the new to fit into sapogi, they are worn over botinki. Kind of like the 'Tropical' version. They also mention some sort of special RPG-7 round they use, and they have some sort of special shotgun with a scope.
