Recently part of my flora pants ripped along the seam. This bring me to my points. Video would be nice.

-How do you sew a uniform so that it lasts
-How do you sew in insignias/ patches

Any help would be appreciated.

Crotch rip will happen when you don't wear your pants like they are meant to be. If let them sag, and then do a squat, they will tear at the seams. If they are pulled up, and you squat, they will hold fine.

As far as sewing. I don't have videos on that, nor do I have plans on making such things. I'm sure sewing lessons can be found online as its a mainstream type of interest that I'm sure you aren't the first and wont be the last to ask.

Sewing skills are important to a Russian soldier. Once you learn the principals, you'll be able to apply it to the crotch, and the pockets for patches, and eventually a collar liner. So everyone should learn. If you find a useful source, don't forget to come back and post it here.

Since my computer tends to crash when over worked with images, I can't help right now.

Here I just saw a right patch to the right uniform. Early (1st Chechen war) Russian patch to VSR. Just a little thing that is made a great difference in the eyes of someone who knows history.
