Try to avoid using signatures in galleries.

How did the RPK perform?

I didn't really play but the RPK is perfectly shimmed so it sounds outstanding, shoots around 12-14rps which is ok with me for now. I can't tell the fps yet but I am assuming over 400, if over 450 I will short stroke another tooth of the piston to lower it to the final resting place. The accuracy is OK for an aluminum barrel, going to have to get that out of there. Will be IR hopping it and putting in either a promy 6.03 steel barrel or something around there.

Overall this is the best shimmed/tuned gun I have owned to date and can shoot for long periods of time in single bursts and motor won't heat up, trigger response on even a 7.4 is that of my other guns with 11.1 and it actually physically sounds like a systema gearbox(planetary gear gearbox) when being shot on semi.

Also will be picking up a few 11.1's for it as well.

LOL @ double guns!

Played a local skirmish yesterday. My goatee totally kills my usual professionalism. It usually comes off a week or so before EW. The pornstashe is going to look great this year.

How is the RPK feeding off the mags and drum?

The RPK (with working drum) would be essential for Tantalum 4. K.A.S.H. WILL be holding the mine this year. We'll need any kind of SAW we can get our hands on.

+1 We _need_ SAW. RPK will be a great asset , and if we can get a player with a PKM, we'll be dominating the field.

For our purposes, won't an RPK and a PKM accomplish the same thing? please educate me if I am incorrect.

PKM has a box magazine with 8000+ (?) rounds, plus it's more intimidating. In real life - PKM is somewhat of a Soviet equivalent of 240 Bravo - it fires 7.62x54 same as SVD Dragunov sniper rifle, and it can be set up on a tripod or a vehicle. RPK on the other hand fires either 7.62c39, or RPK74/RPKM - 5.45x39 round and has either drum magazine (RPK) or extended magazine (RPK74/RPKM) and cannot be mounted on a vehicle. It's a light squad automatic weapon with a 45 round magazine. In airsoft, RPK is a more maneuverable and lighter, but somewhat restricted in ammo capacity (with correct usage according to soviet military doctrine it should be fired in short bursts, not continuous "spray'an'pray" way). So RPK is a plus on a team, PKM is a big intimidating plus, that can hold off longer without reloading, but heavy as heck.

in airsoft, rpk with drum mag is more useful, I'll still get an pkm eventually though.
