I knew I saw a 6B13!
We have nearly identical kits!
When will we actually hit the field to show off together?

Any of MissKitty in Flora?

Her Flora is way too huge! She will still be rocking her Noch M91 Kamysh in the meantime. I got her 54-4's but she needs 52-2's (And I think she could use 52-1's but she says she likes the length on her Kamysh). I have a local guy interested in buying them, as they may fit him, and I believe wildtomcat over on RA can get me what I need. I'm looking to order a bunch of stuff from him anyway.

We need to link up at ET. They're running Honor the Brave in September, but despite my requests, they're running it during R-14's weekend, so I won't be able to make it. Need more Russian love down here at Range 14. Pistols only September, not sure what we're doing for October. November is Coop and Kitty's wedding bash, and December is our annual Christmas game.

I don't think I can convince her to rock the 6b13/6sh104 setup, so she'll keep using her Splav M23. Though I may have her try on the 6sh104. She might like it.

I already have the 6sh104 PKM rig I use with the RPK and Drum Magazines, it's a very comfortable setup!

Not knowing your woman's size!? Isn't that one of the cardinal sins? And even if you don't know, you're supposed to shoot for smaller, not bigger...or they get irked... :bad:

I think the only thing missing from the 104 rig is the chest strap that the Smersh has. Helps keep the shoulder straps in place when not worn over the 6B13. The "shoulder sausages" of the 13 keep the 104 in place.

In the photos it looks like you're wearing it kind of high. I wear it lower when over armor than when just over a BDU. Its very strenuous on my arms to pull mags when its high, especially over armor. And the lower I wear it, the more it shifts and chafes my shoulders when just worn over a BDU. I don't know if a chest strap would help or not with that.

You actually had room to hang your bayo! Since my figure is less luxurious and I use the VOG pouches I can't hang it like that. In the past I would mount it between the kidney pouch and butt pack. Then strap it into the butt pack ROP (flare) pouch. Then I had it strapped down on the suspender and tucked between the bet and mag pouch. Then I stopped taking it with me.

Hah, I knew her size. I even attacked her with the tape measure to figure out her exact size. And since her frame is different than a muscled Russian man, we're just going to go with what works next time, lol.

I may have to set it up to ride a little lower. I have the VOG Pouches, but it looks like to get the right side pouch on, I have to unthread the whole belt from the setup. Kinda a pain in the **** to do. I wasn't sure where to put my bayonet, so I just slipped it on where it works.

That last one looks kind of badass!

Midnight's light Flora coloration looks pretty good in that terrain.

I take it that those shemaghs were mandatory?

I'd love to roll with you guys soon. But I need to link up with someone heading out there from Brooklyn.
October is going to be a busy month. Hoping to get some trigger time this month.

A few pics of me from this month's R-14 Airsoft weekend:

Saturday, rocking the 6b13 and 6Sh104. Need to lose a little weight for it to sit just right. Otherwise, rig worked really well.

Deviated Rationality from http://www.njairsoftleague.com ran a training course at R-14 today, HITS (High Intensity Training Session) Individual Skills, Basic, Level 1. It really has you re-learning the basics and getting rid of bad habits picked up over the years. I got to re-learn simple things like reloading, keeping the gun on target, keeping the gun on target while kneeling, going prone, getting back up, moving, reloading, etc. Lots of good drills that leave the joints sore and the brain full of new tips and tricks to be used. I switched to the old reliable M23 rig, as I prefer a chest rig over the 6sh104, as that seems to put the mags right on my side and makes them awkward to get. I do see some UMBTS in my future though...

A few shots, and a really slick transition vid from today:

Your Flora has *** pockets!
Did you get it that way or attach them yourself?

And what is that between your legs in the pre-last photo?

Hah, That particular set is a very used and very faded set of Flora picked up from Misha. I assume the *** pockets are an add-on he did, as I believe his wife or mother in law is a seamstress.

As for the thing between my legs, it's a sheet of OD fabric reinforcing the crotch of the uniform. Either Misha ripped any venting this uniform had, or just tore the crotch out and needed to sew in a replacement.

From yesterday's "Shots 4 Tots" game at Strike Force Sports CQB field

Always sad that when you ask a random player to snap a photo, they really don't make an effort into doing any cool angles. Or its not their fault, they just have no artistic spirit. Whatever. A random dude was kind enough to snap a couple of photos of us in the field.

Image
And this is like the crash-room at SFS. You can watch on the monitors live game play happening in the field. They also have PS3s set up to play MW or CoD. I don't know which one is which. They also have a TV you can watch TV on! And a bunch of comfy couches in that room.

I know, ElChulo was wearing his belt upside-down. We fixed that.

I kept hoping Schultz was going to show up. But they did have a guy working there that I thought looked like him. Kept getting a sense of deja vu when I'd walk past him.
