All the games you guys go to are gay. Go to a game at my field. Specifically, one worth going to:

Event Details:

Event Discussion Forum:

Extremely watered down event details:

Who: TSSR and Friends
What: Partake in a 24 hour Scenario and end game BBQ
When: 17-18APR2013
Where: R-14 Paintball, Fort Dix, NJ: +40° 0' 4.14", -74° 32' 44.39" or 40.001797,-74.547043
Why: Because all of your games in New York and Northern New Jersey are homosexual.
How: Check out the event thread for details.

Slightly less watered down event details:

Two sides battle for control of a field using realistic military measures of success in capturing a fighting position. To capture a position for your team you must have:

Manpower: 2-4 guys (A battle buddy or a fire team)
Supplies: A crate of "Beans, Bullets, and Bandaids"
Time: 1 Half Hour

Every hour, event admins check who owns what positions, and tally up the points for your team (think Ft. Drum style scoring, but not 100 points/objective... 1 point... **** counting that high). This goes on overnight for 24 straight hours. The game is a true test of strength (the crates aren't light), team work (people are idiots) and stamina (24 straight hours... 3 additional hours than any event at Fort Drum).

In previous years we used a construction generator to provide lighting in the middle of the field for overnight, along with supplying power to a 500w speaker system blasting a vietnam soundtrack complete with Armed Forces Vietnam (AFVN) Commercials. The Soundtrack is back and better than ever, and the construction generator flood lights have been replaced with individual battery powered 75w lamps on each building, which should tone the lights down and keep it realistic.

The premise is simple. Take and hold fighting positions to gain points. Take positions from the enemy. Defend against the loss of positions. Maintain this combat posture for 24 straight hours.

Why Vietnow: Nobody wants to get the gear for a Vietnam game, but we want to have a war of attrition style battle. And it's a good excuse to blast 60's classic and psychedelic rock at full volume overnight. This is our 3rd year running, and promises to be our biggest and best event to date, and it is the one everyone is looking forward to out of our entire year lineup of events.

This year will also be the first to feature an end of game BBQ. Everyone's $5 pre-registration will be going toward hot dogs, hamburgers, buns, condiments, and charcoal.

Pre-Reg is $5. Full payment is $25. Pre-Reg is not open yet, but if anyone is interested, I'll be announcing it toward the end of May. Remaining payment can be paid in cash on site or via paypal.

Since this game starts at noon instead of 8 AM, there's a good chance some of you New York folk can make it without having to wake up at the crack of dawn!

Hope to see some of ya'll there. Please feel free to post up questions on the Range 14 forums. They're new and can use additional members and content.
