I got my Dremel and finally got to do it. Bottom hand-guard required very little filing and sits tight like on real gun. I had to work a bit with top one coz it was a bit too thick. Because of the gun construction it's not sit close enough to the bottom piece and I need to cover filed lip with probably a polish restoring pen.

Pretty

Is the top piece facing the right direction? Or is it just not sitting all the way down in the front?

Front lip on Chinese plastic part is much shorter then on Russian wood. If I file wood too much it will have frontal wobleing.
