I'm not sure that the word TanC and me gave you is appropriate for what you were trying to say. Not sure. Sasha would be able to give you a better answer.

Hey guys listen...

I just bought me self a Berlitz - RUSSIAN PHRASE BOOK and CD.

According to this package, I should get to learn Russian daily conversation in just a few weeks.
So I will cross my fingers... hehe

Image

Synopsis
With hundreds of travel-related expressions, including greetings, questions, numbers and more, the Berlitz Phrase Book and CD offers business and leisure travelers key words and phrases needed for a trip abroad. In print and audio, its up-to-date, relevant content makes the Berlitz Phrase Book and CD an essential tool for today's travelers. Each foreign language phrase is repeated—slowly at first and then at normal speed—so learners can build confidence.

Now if I get to learn to speak simple Russian conversation... I can try to find a Russian chick and bring her to the Russian store at 14t Street & 2nd Avenue to haggle the selling price. hehe
